Another hot day.

In the morning it was really hot again and I tried to scare mummy but it didn't work.
I played X-box (again) and we got to have chippies for lunch.

Really hot today

This morning when I woke up I walked through really quietly and said "Good Morning" to Mummy, She didn't hear me coming and it really scared her.
It was a really hot day. we went to the shops and we did a little grocery shopping.
We had a lazy afternoon because it was so hot. I watched Back to the future part 3. It was great. my favourite part was when you got to see Doc & Clara's boys. I also love when Doc from the first movie said the Indians wouldn't be there but they were. that was the best part. I played some more X-box and got Mummy to help me on the hard bits.

Back in Brisbane

Today was my first real day back in Brisbane. We went to Taigum Centro Shopping Centre. On the way there we saw a baby bearded dragon.
We went to EB Games but there weren't many new games there. Then I had a quick look at the toys in Big W and there still wasn't anything new there either. Then Mummy and I got a chocolate thickshake and relaxed outside. We went back inside to go shopping at Woolworths. I got to push the trolley.
Later in the day Mummy had some friends over so I kept busy by watching TV and playing on the X-Box. I was playing The Simpson hit & run.

Coming home

This afternoon I caught a plane home from Melbourne. My 11 day holiday was over. The flight was good but it was a little bumpy. The flight attendants were nice.
I sat next to a girl up the front of the plane she was also flying alone. I had a juice and some mini cheese rings and I got to watch some TV and a little bit of Avatar (Not the new movie.)

Mummy was already waiting for me at the airport which was good because we landed 15 minutes early. I gave her a big hug. The first thing we did was to call Daddy to let him know I had landed. I bet he was surprised I was early.

As we were leaving the airport we rang Grandpa to let him know I arrived safely. We then headed over to the train station. It was my first time on the Airtrain. but we had to run the board said there was only 3 minutes until the train left and after we bought the tickets there was only 1 minute.

The train was really crowded. It was hard to find two seats next to each other. We got off at Eagle Junction and our connecting train came just after we got to the platform. We caught it to Toombul and then caught a bus home. It didn't take long and we were home by 6:11.
Daddy was waiting for us at home. I had a little rest and watched the end of The Simpsons. It was the episode where Bart and Homer were chained together. (The Parent Rap.)

We went through my bags. I only took one to Melbourne but came back with 3 full bags. There were clothes galore and all the tickets and brochures I collected. There was my colour lab slime and temporary tattoos. There was also a huge collection of DVDs and binoculars I got from Grandma.

For dinner we had spaghetti with sausages. It was so good. After dinner we all watched the first episode of Man vs Wild. It was good but also scary. I would watch it again though.

Kennett's Excellent Adventure (part 11)

The last day of my excellent adventure. Yia Yia has washed all of my clothes and packed my cases. After lunch I will go to the airport where my plane awaits to take me back to control my mummy and daddy.

Kennett's Excellent Adventure (part 10)

We got up early again and went to Ballarat to meet my Uncle Gavin and his wife Angela and my cousins Kaila and Toby. I was very nervous but I don’t know why. Toby who is not yet two wanted to play with me as soon as we got into the house. Kaila who is older than me was very nice. Gavin was still at work. After we had chatted for awhile Grandpa, Yia Yia, Kaila and I went to Sovereign Hill gold mining village. First we went and looked at the ice sculptures and it was minus 10 degrees in there which was very, very cold, even my kings throne was frozen.

We went for a ride on a four horse drawn carriage around the village.

Then we saw some soldiers who marched through the village and then fired their guns. It was very loud and made me jump.

After this we went down a mine where they showed us all about a mining disaster where 22 men died when a mine shaft got flooded. Most amazing was that they managed to rescue the rest of the miners a couple of days later.

Next we tried to find some gold.

After this we went back to uncle Gavin’s house.

Next we drove back to Melbourne for dinner. We had a barbecue and true to Australian rules the men cooked and we had to have a beer while we were cooking. Beer is yucky

Kennett's Excellent Adventure (part 9)

Was a quiet day again but we went to the fun parlour at Northland Shopping Centre. This was good fun and I won a couple of prizes including multi colour lab slime and a surprise item that I will show mummy when I get home.

Kennett's Excellent Adventure (part 8)

Yia Yia had arranged a special surprise for me. We got up early and went into the city.

WOW did I get a big surprise we went to IMAX to see......

I thought dinosaurs didn’t exist any longer but now I wonder. These dinosaurs seemed very alive and very close. At the end I thought the claw of one of them was going to scratch me, it was that close to my face.

When the movie had finished we went into the Melbourne Museum where they had a display of Dinosaur fossils, I could touch some of the teeth of dinosaurs and I even touched Dinosaur Poo.

When we had seen all of the dinosaur exhibits we went into the wild animal display section where I could get close to a lot of animals.

The next section had all of the insects on show, and though they were fairly mean, they didn’t scare me because I am fearless and brave.

They looked like I could eat them for lunch, but as Yia Yia had arranged a special lunch for me I left the Tarantulas alone, but the bugs made a tasty treat.

When we left the museum we went to Preston Market where we went to Yia Yia’s brothers place which is called Peter’s Pizzas. He makes the best pizza in the world (sorry mum, only joking yours are the very best). Lemonia made us a three in one pizza so we could all have the flavour we wanted. I had Hawaiian Pizza. Then she gave me a serve of chips and I broke all of mummy’s rules and had a large bottle of coke. After this we went and did the weekly shopping then went home.

Grandpa took me to the park over the road from his house but after this it was rather boring as we had to take Grandpa to the eye specialist and this took longer than expected.

I played a lot of games on the Wii as we had to stay home today.

I went to the beach again with Grandpa and Yia Yia and we met Peter and his wife Lemonia. Later in the day we went for lunch at a fine winery in Red hill with all of the above people and Nick and his wife Angela.
